About Us

Euler's Method Calculator is a free, interactive tool for approximating solutions of first-order ordinary differential equations. It is built for students, teachers, and anyone who wants to see how numerical methods actually work β€” step by step.

Everything runs entirely in your browser. Your equations, step sizes, and results never leave your device, and the arithmetic is fully transparent so you can follow every calculation.

What We Do

The calculator lets you set up a first-order ODE of the form dy/dx = f(x, y) and approximate its solution using several numerical schemes:

Alongside the numeric results, you get step-by-step tables, interactive graphs, slope fields, and error analysis when an exact solution is available. A built-in step-size lab lets you explore how accuracy improves as the step size shrinks.

Why We Built It

Numerical methods can feel abstract when they are just formulas on a page. We wanted a tool where the mathematics becomes visible: watch the trajectory follow the slope field, compare methods on the same problem, and see the error shrink with smaller steps. We believe free, transparent, client-side tools make numerical analysis more approachable for everyone.
